Commercial Brockwell Park Fireworks Display promises high octane pyrotechnics, Sat Nov 4th

Sadly, the days of free shows in Brockwell Park are long gone, but for those folks desperate for a fix of Guy Fawkes action, Lambeth Fireworks promises a family night of mighty rockets, live music, entertainment, funfair and food traders.

Lambeth Council ignores own co-op constitution as £7 fireworks display is pushed through

Themed on the Hollywood blockbuster, A Night At The Movies, the organisers promise “an incredible display of high octane pyrotechnics against the backdrop of an epic mix of movie soundtracks. The display will be a breathtaking adventure through some of the most-loved movies from the past six decades.”

Kicking off at 5pm with a funfair, live music and entertainment from local performers, there will be twenty food traders available, including Memphis BBQ Porky’s, hotdogs from Gut Wurst, wood fired pizzas from Dough & Deer, and mac ‘n’ cheese from Mac to the Future. There will also be bars serving refreshments across the event.

Current prices are £4 for Kids, £8.50 for Adults and £25 for Families standard ticket, rising to £10 for Kids, £15 Adults and £50 Family for a premier viewing ticket – this gives access to priority queuing lanes, an “exclusive viewing area with private bar and catering” plus a free drink. Premier Viewing tickets are on sale from £15 for Adults and £10 for Kids.

Speaking about this year’s event, organiser Rob Westworth said: “We are really excited to launch our Fireworks festival at Brockwell Park. It’s such a fun British tradition, and we hope to make it a magical experience for all”.
