Longstanding Brixton club night Get Diverted is gearing up for another Spring and Summer of sundrenched parties on the Brixton roof tops and hosts its opening party on the roof terrace of the Prince Of Wales on Friday 18th April (Good Friday).
The twelve hour sesssion will see top Scottish techno team Slam headline proceedings with support from Moscow Records label boss Archie Hamilton, Samantha Blackburn, Rob Alldritt plus stacks more and we have one pair of tickets to give away!
In the past two decades, Slam have defined techno in Scotland, cultivating virtually every Scottish techno artist of note, and remixed everyone from Daft Punk to Underworld. Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle will also be known to fans and clubbers as the brains behind Glasgow label, Soma which just turned 20, as well as their residencies at two of the UK’s biggest clubs, Pressure in their home town of Glasgow and Fabric in London.
Soma’s recent releases and remixes include Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Gary Beck, Loco Dice, Mark Broom, Nick Curly and Pan-Pot with recent remixes of Slam originals from Carl Craig, Radio Slave, KiNK and Sebo K. Their twentieth birthday celebrations have been going on over the past 12 months, seeing parties at festivals and clubs around the globe, plus a host of vinyl, digital and box set releases from friends and affiliates over the label’s 20 year history.
It all kicks off on the terrace of Brixton’s Prince of Wales at 5pm on Good Friday (18th April) as Get Diverted gears up for another Spring and Summer of huge terrace parties on the Brixton roof tops.
